I test the big three via my trident and noticed lately that they have all started to come falling down while my dosing has remained constant. I am aiming for stability vs chasing numbers but curious if this could be more testing error than increased consumption? See below for the charts for alk and calc. Tank is a Waterbox 130 dosing ESV Bionic via DOS. Tank is about 3 months old and have had more coralline growth but not within this week time period. Also, at over 50% capacity so it is not using the last of the reagent and I calibrate when changing the reagents.

You could test some pre-mixed salt water and see what values you get. The values should be available on the bucket.

Without knowing what's in the tank in terms of coral load we cant offer much advice.

Alk is going to be crazy unstable in a 3month old tank as it's consumed by various biological stratas getting established. Calcium on the other hand should be stable unless you have a big growing SPS load.

The changes you are showing are small and are not balanced calcium to alkalinity. Thus I do not think reduced demand is the answer.

Maybe testing issues, maybe dosing issues, maybe something else.

I tested again and am now running back towards the median. I’ve been pretty consistent with 15ml of daily consumption.
