Inland wet saw users

My new reef saw arrived. Not sure what to use in the resovoir. Do i use tank water or ro water or just manually keep the coral wet? Any tips from the experts ? Thanks Mike

i use tank water with revive in the water. then those cuts go into more water with revive to soak. then into two clean tank water baths and then back into the tank.

i then clean the machine very well after every single use to remove the salts

I use tank water. Tips - Keep your fingers away from the blade. No really, I alway use a frag plug to find the speed that takes the least ammount of material away when cutting. Ussually around 75% power.

I use nothing now, used to use tank water but most corals dont need it and have enough water in their tissues to lubricate the blade. Its only when you are cutting something thick that it really heats up and starts causing damage.

I have never used anything. I have read that many people use tank water but in return they usually have a lot of issues with there saw.

I use my saw nearly everyday and not an issue at all, only the switch went out and of course that has nothing to do with it.

As stated above, the coral are wet enough. From what I have found adding saltware or lots of water will only ruin the bearings. This is what Inland told me as well.
