That’s a great deal at Saltwater, just checked and it’s still on. I almost pulled the trigger but gonna hold out for an 80 AIO.

did the design on the doors today and filled any nail holes. now I just have to sand and stain it sometime this week. need to have it over at my place by next weekend because the tank arrives this week.

stained the stand today and continued working on the aquascape. was short on the cement so had to order another bag from brs. covering the seamsin glue and crushed Marco rock has worked great.

realizing I'll have to assemble the aquascape in pieces because I won't be able to move it as one cohesive piece without breaking it. will have the right piece (in the picture) just touch the other piece so it looks as if it's connected.

built more of the aquascape today despite not having cement. will cement it all in place on Thursday or Friday. tank arrives on Friday!

making sure to add a ton of different caves in the aquascape for fish..

thanks!
Following! About to start my IM 40 build thread as well. Stand looks great!
thanks, i'm happy with how it came out considering its my first piece of furniture I've ever built. I made it a bit bigger than the tank itself because I prefer the look of the tank sitting on the piece of furniture instead of the dimensions matching exactly. I'll definitely check out your thread as well! I'm excited to get this tank up I really like the dimensions. wish I went with it right off the bat.

finished the aquascape today. just have to let everything dry then take it outside and blow off the excess Marco dust. may have to cover joints in glue and dust 1 more time.

really happy with how it came out. once everything sets a few support rocks will be removed to reveal a few more floating sections of the scape.

officially got the stand over to my apartment. it's all done, just waiting another day for the poly to fully cure before putting it in its final place with the tank on it.

new tank will sit in the middle of the area where the current tank is. old tank will hopefully be sold by the end of the year. getting rid of it for a steal so hopefully can find someone.

rockwork is also fully completed and just needs to be blown off.

now comes figuring out the transfer. need to a bit of research on if I can just transfer everything the same day or if I need to cycle the tank first.

Wow, you did a heck of a job on the stand, and The Rock work as well. Looks great, I can't wait to see your tank on top of it!
