Just the basic plumbing to start with, but eventually a skimmer and different pumps. Possibly a refugium.

Tank is up and running now. Opinions on how long, or not, to run the lights during the cycling process? The lights are set to run for 3 hrs a day with 30 min ramp up for now.

EDIT: Just saw your question. I think you're not supposed to run the light at all for the first week but I think you're fine running it for only 3 hours, provided you don't have the intensity cranked.

Looks awesome! I have the same tank, same light and also a diy stand. Just bought a new return pump for it today since the stock pump started rattling loudly on me so beware of that.

I will keep that in mind in reference to the pump. Was thinking of swapping it out in the future for dual pumps anyway.

for this size of tank should I try and keep the rocks away from the back of the tank wall?

Update on how things are going. Start of month 3 and tank continues to do well.

Tank parameters are very stable 3 months in. Time to start adding corals!

How is the one light setup going? Do you think you need to add another? Just purchased mine awaiting on arrival.

So far everything is looking great. I did follow the BRS settings on the light FYI

So far so good. One should be fine. I followed the BRS settings for the light and then modified it to my visual preference a little.
