Well seem's like the right topic around this time ( 2am ), my nights are getting longer everyday, it started by staying awake to watch the 10pm local news then 11pm went by and I'm still awake either watching TV or doing chores around the house, well 12am is here I'm still awake!! Now I'm getting mad at my wife for not staying awake with me, 1am turn the TV back on I'm thinking to myself there's got to be something to watch now 2am and still awake.

That's pretty much my routine everyday, I have to get up around 6-630am to go to work, I work 6 days a week and my nights are getting longer everyday, I know about all the sleeping aid pills but I never taking any and don't want to.
Well I guess I keep having my nights.

How old are you? As we age, our bodies lower our production of melatonin, which helps us sleep. Are you stressed? Any life changes going on or about to?

What i have understood is that you probably are missing your sleep time. I have the same problem thus the response. I get tired around 10-11 but one reason or another remain awake. Thus pushing off my natural sleepiness. Once i push that out of the way its dang near impossible for me to knock out. Especially lately, as i had a knee surgery and am immobile most of the day so dont do anything to really make me tired or exhausted,

I'm glad I'm not alone, I recognize all of R2R names that usually stay up late.

Insomnia stinks! I didn't sleep a wink last night! In the past I have taken lunesta which is a non narcotic sleeping pill, it worked wonderfully. Do not discount using them breifly if the insomnia continues, they helped me get back on track

I combat late restless nights at the gym. I found that if I work myself really hard at the gym 5+ nights a week my body pretty much shuts down around 10pm, which is fine with me.

Do you have time to incorporate a 20-30 minute run in your day, or 1.5+ hr workout regime?
