Hello. For the past few months I have been using Reef Ocean Reef Crystals Salt mix.

I’m having difficulty doing the measurements to reach 1.026 Salinity for 5 gallons

By any chance does anyone have the weight measurement for this salt mix to reach 1.026?

The bag only has instructions that say 1.4 pounds for 5 gallons of saltwater to create 1.021.

I have been doing this:
5 gal Bucket RO/DI water
+26.5 oz Reef Crystals
= 35 ppt (1.026 SpG @ 78°F)

Hold a bit in reserve and test as you approach the target before adding the last of it. Also, be prepared to add a tad more than this if needed, as ymmv.
