Iodide dosing

So my ati icp results came back and it said I needed to dose 0.8 ml x 3 days. The question is which product to use as I imagine the concentrations to be different. I have the Kent marine Lugols dip and I just ordered reef iodide from seachem. I read somewhere that lugols is not recommended. So do I dose 0.8ml of the reef iodide from sea chem or do I have to do some additional math. The dosing instruction on bottle says something completely different. I do dose iodide. 20ml 2x a month for a 600g.
Dont know if it makes a difference or not.
Shrimp seem to grow and molt just fine.
My softies and nems do great.
Im sure my salt mix (Red Sea )prob has enough in it with 10% a week water changes.

And did your icp results tell you to dose 0.8ml of iodide and you choose to dose 20ml instead?

The ATI icp test recommends dosages based on their own products. The 0.8 mL would be of their ATI iodine product. If you use another product like the seachem you need to do your own math. I don’t have my bottle in front of me but I remember on the dosing instructions for sea chem it tells you how much 5mL increases a specific tank size. You can just scale from there to your own tank volume.

I use Seachem Vibrance
Instructions: 1ml for every 100L (25gal) to raise Lodide by 0.10mg/l
My test said I had 0.00 and was down -60 ug/l or 0.06/l
They did not recommend a certain dose of any product.
My shrimp and plants did just fine without the Lodide. Maybe they are happier now? Cant tell by lookin at them.
