Iodine for my closed zoa’s?

Hey guys so I’ve been having this issue where my zoa’s have only been half way open for the last month. I wrote a post and I had someone with the same tank and using the same salt and doing the same maintenance as me had a similar problem. He started dosing iodine and the problem resolved within 48 hours. So I want to know before I try it out does anyone else dose iodine in there tanks with good results?

Test before you dose, but I dont see any negative.

I manually dose Lugols 2-3 x per week. Makes a difference

What percentage do you use?

I see some with %2 to %5

Some were opened and some closed regularly. Not any more

Indicates " IMO". It is proven for many and many have different tank volumes and scenarios. I will only use Reef specific chemical (not household iodine, not bayer for dip, etc)
