IRS check

Hey guys, I'm sure like me you are at home waiting for that IRS check. Well I checked on the status of mine this morning only to find out my taxes from 2018 were never filed. I submitted my taxes through USPS mail and it looks it never got to the IRS. I know you have up to three years usually to file for taxes but I'm wondering if this will void my qualifications for the stimulus check?

You have to submit the non filers. No you are not disqualified as it is a stimulus check and has nothing to do with taxes.

I have taxes from 2017 and before, but from everything I've read it's going off 2018. What's funny is I have to send it through USPS again because the IRS is no longer accepting 2018 taxes online.

Also if you owed for 2019, you will need to go on and put in your banking info you want it directed deposited. The IRS took my payment last week for the taxes we owned and I figured they would have my routing and bank account number. NOPE. It was an easy fix once you get in.
