My salt dropped from 1.026 to 1.025 over the last month, is this a safe level or should I try to raise it up.
I'm on moonshiners program and don't do any water changes so it would be hard to raise it ? What would be the best way ?

I have a softie tank.

If you decide you want to bump it back up just top off with 1.026 till you get there. But as mentioned 1.025 is more than fine especially for soft coral.

Perfectly fine! A 1-2 sg drop is harmless. Though an FYI, 1.026 is specific gravity (SG) parts per million (ppm) would be around 35

My first hydrometer in 2006 was a Coralife Deep 6, the high end of the acceptable range was 1.023 - I’ve always kept it there . I started most current tank from half inch frags 4 years ago, and they agree that 1.025 is not too low

Just to be clear, specific gravity has no units associated with it, since it is a ratio (density of the salt water to density of pure water at the same temp), so ppm is not a needed addendum to 1.025. :)
