Hello, I’ve been researching which bleach to use to disinfect rocks. So far this is the closest thing to 100% sodium hypochlorite I could find and without scents or “low splash”. On the ingredients list it shows “Water, Sodium Hypochlorite, and Sodium Hydroxide” would this be safe to disinfect the rock, as you would with the normal bleach method. Thanks for any help.

Those ingredients are totally fine but the concern with products made for laundry is a lot of companies add fragrance and soap and don't often put it on the label since it is in such minor amounts. You should be able to tell by smell or if the bleach foams up when shaken.

Okay thanks, I’ll give it a smell and shake when I get home. If it does is there a specific bleach you would recommend?

I had a moment so I checked the msds for the Cloralen and it looks good. And yeah I agree pool chlorine is generally a good bet at a good price.
Oh thanks, I dug a little deeper and found this on Walmarts website Ingredients: Sodium hypochlorite: 7.5%, other ingredients:( Sodium hydroxide, water): 92.5%

Look where you find pool cleaning supplies, Walmart has a gallon jug of 10% pure sodium hypochlorite for around $5
I looked and found this. It says active ingredient: 10% sodium hypochlorite, other ingredients 90%. I’m just concerned what other ingredients means

I’m a little lost when looking at the SDS. I can’t find either of the ingredients on there. I really appreciate the help btw!
Page 2, it won’t list water because it is a non toxic Ingredient, but it will list every chemical that it contains and it only lists the sodium hypochlorite.
