Hi everyone, just had what I think is my first hitchhiker. It came out of a new mushroom coral and scurried off into the rock.
It's a red crab about half an inch across and I'm at a loss of what it could be.
Any ideas? Is it dangerous to anything?
Thanks for reading.

Would probably need to see an image to make that determination. Two possibilities come to mind: the red variant of the emerald crab and a Hawaiian strawberry crab.

I'll try and get a picture if I ever see it again. But at least it was free unlike my fire shrimp, Xenia, and now a yellow sea cucumber all of which vanished within minutes of going in the tank. (I know where the shrimp lives as I can sometimes see his whiskers).

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
