Looks like tissue necrosis which is peeling/loss of tissue as opposed to bleaching which is loss of zooxanthellae. What are you params and have you noticed any changes lately (alkalinity swing perhaps?)

yup, cut some live stuff off of it. Its possible it wasnt happy already from something and the temp just sent it over the edge.
And sorry, thats a bummer. Nobody likes to wake up to that in the morning.
