Is it wrong to clean your tank in a wet suit?

I am a Reef JUNKIE! I'm new to the forums, but I have been in the hobby for years. I remember spending my lawnmowing money on new fish and equipment since I was 13. Mostly nano tanks with hob, but I always want more. I joined the navy at 17 to serve my country (tour the reefs of the world on somebody elses dime).[emoji41] I joined the forum because I finally got a 250 gallon, and I'm still unhappy. Honestly I don't think I will be happy till cleaning my tank involves a wet suit and a weekend, with a monthly electric bill with more k's than my lights. [emoji23]

I have a 29 gallon and I put a wetsuit on when I clean it. My girlfriend thinks it's weird that I am in full scuba gear but remain dry through the entire process. That's such a typical girl thing.

Full scuba on even when scraping the algae with a mag float, you can never be too careful. Hypothermia sets in fast.

Great! You guys keep adding to my list of things I need to get for the tank. Boy my soon to be wife is going to be shocked when I show up one day with full SCUBA gear and a new boat.

I just have nano tanks and so only wear a rash guard when scraping, feeding; full wet suit for gluing corals however.

I'm wearing mine to feed my 8 gallon right now! And I am a girl.
