Hey everyone, I made a post yesterday about how one of my heads on my Duncan had been closed up for a few days. Now, as of today, it looks worse. All of my water parameters are good, and I have another low coral that’s thriving. If anyone could please give me some advice, I’d greatly appreciate it

I saw your other post. Still has lots of flesh so that's good. Only comment I have is .02ppm PO4 is too low IMO
Duncan usually respond well to feeding. If you haven't been I would try feeding a little chopped frozen mysis or some lps pellets a couple times a week.

I still think it looks healthy, it just looks like something touched it. Any CUC that could be crawling on it?

I’ll dose some phosphorus to see if that might help. I feed the coral frozen mysis once a week, but I’ll try feeding more to see if that helps. I do have a bristle worm that I’ve seen around the Duncan. Is it possible he could be chewing on the coral?

I have 2 hermits, 3 trochus snails, and a cleaner shrimp. I also have a bristle worm that I’ve seen around the base of the Duncan, so I’m not sure if maybe the worm has been stressing it out

not likely a problem with bristle worms. Shrimp can be aggressive when you feed corals and go after the food as the corals are eating. Should only be a temporary thing though unless they physically damage the polyps trying to get at the food.

I’ve had mine for over four years and once or twice it does this for a couple days. First time I freaked out. Now I shrug, I still have no clue why it does it.

Corals are weird, I’m still kinda new to the saltwater side of the hobby 😅

Here’s what it looks like 90% of the time. I know you are addressing the issue but get your phosphates up to around.05-.1
