Is my GBTA dying or is it normal?

Good evening guys,

Came home today to my GBTA looking like this. I've had it for about two weeks now. I've been feeding it every 3 days and it was eating and looking great. All my water parameters are good and there haven't been any changes to the tank. Is it normal or is it dying? I don't know if you guys can see it the picture that its releasing some type of white slime.

Looks like the anemone is just expelling waste and should inflate without intervention. If the anemone does not look better in couple hours check water chemistry.

Ok cool thanks. That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure since I was told that a dead anemone can crash my tank

That really depends on the size of anemone, tank and age of tank with filtration type.
Personally I would not feed an anemone every 3 days, they have a slow gut. Under the current standard lighting for most reef tanks an anemone does not need to eat so frequently.
If all the other inverts and corals look fine than I would not be concerned. My anemone did the same and returned to a normal state within hours.

All Nems and corals poop atleast once per day. Not only that BTA's like to ball up all the time.
