hey guys, I bought a used apex off of eBay I’ve had it for a while, Isn’t the probes up on a spare tank to keep them wet while I was waiting for my tank to be ready. I didn’t pay too much attention to the readings, but when I was moving it to the main tank I noticed something that is either a crack in the inner tube, or possibly a Filiment wire that is supposed to be there, I’ve also noticed a small amount of liquid inside the probe. Here’s pics and a video hopefully you can make it out. I’m thinking it’s busted but wanted to confirm before dropping coin on a new one... I’d test it on the tank and see what it reads, but if it’s broken and could leak something dangerous into the tank I don’t want to put it in. Thanks for the help.

It didn’t come with fluid, I’ll have to order some. I could stick it in the tank and compare it to my Red Sea test, just wanted to make sure it was safe to stick in the tank before doing so.
