Got up this morning and my YWG was not where he normally is (pvc) and was under the heater and is this color. Is he ok? He’s been in cycled QT for over 3 weeks, eating, watching. Kinda freaky since I lost all my DT fish to velvet back in March so any change freaks me out. He still has his blue spots hits he’s kinda pinkish today. Any clue?
All parameters are good.

I believe you now have a female Yellow Watchman Goby

It’s said that females generally lose their color and turn grayish while the males keep their vibrant yellow appearance

Hmmm that’s interesting. Did not know. Maybe he/she was having a bad day. Ate this morning so I’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the reply

Been watching her since my original post and I think you’re right. She keeps going from pale yellow to beige. Going to have to rethink the name. Maybe get her a beau?
