Is Phosphate Bad for Fish?

I always knew it made Algae Grow.

But recently I became conderned about my Phosphate Levels as I learned that it slowed down Coral Growth.

One person even said that high leveles of Phosphate (2 PPM or More) could even Kill Coral!

So that got me wondering as to what effects that Phosphate had on Fish (If any).

Fish can with stand higher levels of phosphates and nitrates better than coral can. But you should keep both levels down espially if you house corals.
