Is that normal ?

I have my helios heater set to 77F. And my apex reading it 76.6 is that normal!

100% . Both of the thermometers are just calibrated slightly differently most likely
 
Mine is like that too. I was told by IM that it won't display the decimal within .5 degrees. So if you change your set temperature to 78 or 76, it'll show you 76.6 degrees. I think they also said a work around would be to calibrate to add .5 degrees.

Their heaters are pretty accurate. What I did on mine is I raised the set temp a degree higher to see the decimal. Out of the 2 heaters I have from them, only 1 of them was .1 off, but that is negligible. Once I saw the decimal, I put my set temp back to what I wanted it to be.
