Right now I have enough sand for about 1.1-1.2 inches average depth of sand. Should I go a bit thicker or is that enough for nassarius snails? Talking about the little guys here, not the super tongans.

I have had tanks with only 1 inch and they do fine. They come above to eat, so enough to cover them to make them feel good is about all you need.

Follow-up question, would caribsea special grade be too course for then or is it okay?
