Hi there,

I was thinking about this the other day, but I couldn’t find one. Either the site sells very expensive fish only or they just don’t have something similar to Diver Den (not just with the what you see is what you get but with a similar QT process) for fish. Corals are easy to find (any what you see is what you get section). I really like what divers den offers, but just wondering what else is out there on the fish side of things.

I really like Blue Zoo Aquatics in general for coral and fish. They also have a Collector’s Choice section that is their version of Divers Den.

Just has 20% the selection though.

For quality and variety of fish, customer service and warranty nobody even comes close IMO.

I am always looking for someone who gives them some competition, just never find anyone who does.

Assuming you mean divers den specifically rather than DD/LA collectively, then I think there is no current peer. I buy fish from BlueZoo and NYAquatic and I'd judge them to be right there with LA, but not DD. Although I'd quibble with whether DD can really do a proper QT, their conditioning process is valuable, as is the 14 day guarantee for ALL fish.

My first choice for fish is always DD/LA, with BZ and NYA as alternatives for stuff I cannot find elsewhere. NYA is also local to me, so that makes it more appealing than if shipping were required.
