I apologize as I’m sure this has been asked before. I have read some threads and the article “Diagnosis and Treatment of Pinched Mantle Disease” by @OrionN but I want some experienced confirmation and recommendations.

I have had this Derasa for ~4 weeks and not long after obtaining the clam noticed this area on the left front quarter where the mantle sort of “cuts in” toward the shell. Please see photos, I apologize for the quality.

So would you say “early catch and perform a FWD”?
Don’t react yet as upon lights on May fill a little
If not, then do FW dip. Look for presence of and tulip shaped snails on it known as tulip snails
