This «coral» came with My trumpet coral, have no idea if its a real coral or What it is

Perhaps turning on your white lights and retaking the picture will help. It’s hard to determine under blues.

Its still a little blurry but I’m seeing some small and short polyps. Guessing it could be a montipora. Maybe you could smth to touch it and see if its rubbery and soft or hard? If its hard its definitely an sps coral.

They are soft corals that can spread quickly and are hard to kill, to some people they are pest, to others they are a dominate part of their display.
Agreed, they can be a pest if they are growing where they shouldnt be such as growing over other corals. But other than that they are fine and people actually pay for them.
