Is this a parasite ?

I recently got this coral and am new to keeping corals. This is a candy cane coral and I am trying to figure out if this they’re sweeping tentacles or if it’s a Flabelligerid Worm or possible other parasite if anyone can help !!

Barnacle.

It's a barnacle. Harmless, but likely won't survive for long.
