The guy at my LFS wasn’t sure
And google shows completely different colour patterns

It's a juvenile emperor angel. Color and pattern will change with age

It’s hit or miss, mostly miss lol.
Ive keeped one in with softies without a problem. Also had others that ate everything

Yes its a juvenile emperor and I have one which has changed to adult colours

He doesn’t currently bother corals…..

In the 80s, I had a 120g tank in my office … 1 of the fish was an adult emperor, that would ‘talk’ (grunt) to
me (and only me) every time that I walked into the room.
People were amazed that the fish could recognize me.
I think he was just asking for more food!
