I just got home with some new livestock and found this on a favia frag. What is it and should it go in my tank? It’s still in the bag now. It looks like a small red snail with two antennae. Thanks in advance for your help!

keeper! Stomata snail. Great algae grazer. Better than my typing skills.

Edit: Not a fair compassion. If you knew how many attempts it took me to type algae...

Stomatella, all right. Nice find! It's a pretty one, too.

Be careful with it, their shells are small, thin, and delicate. If at all possible, don't directly touch it. Just place whatever it's on in the tank and let it move.
