Labeled as Storm?
So he had a lot more black / orange vs white like the other storms in the tank.

What do y’all think?

Mocha storms in my area go for $120. LFS had a sale and I got him for $66 I really liked his smiley face

Thank you 🙂

*from what I gathered. I asked two different fish stores and they said he is definitely a mocha (and leaning more towards a storm). The confusion come in with the white face but the patterned body (not blotches)

He came from ORA, I watched the youtube from the tour with topshelf and sometimes they do different pairings, but also sometimes since all the tanks are connected a male can actually fertilize a different batch of eggs.

They said sometimes they get these hybrids and even if they spot them, they usually just sell due to not necessary being able to reproduce the same genetics as it was random.

At this point I think he is a storm Picasso mocha. 😆

Other possiblys onyx Picasso hyprid, black ice hyprid?

That is a mocha storm ocellaris

FWIW, Picasso are percula….the fully black eyes around the iris on yours is a sign it’s an ocellaris as perculas have an orange or light colored iris and a small black pupil.

Additionally, I have seen the prices on these fluctuate based on availability and source.
$50 - $150 is the range I’ve seen around my area.
