Hi all — I’m new here and looking for some advice.
Please see the photo below of my clown goby. I showed the photo to my local fish store, and they thought it looked like Brooklynella (Brook). Unfortunately, I lost him after catching and treating him.
Here’s where I’m unsure: I have three other fish — two clownfish and a firefish — and all three still seem completely fine about 9 days after I took this photo.
Based on the photo and the fact that the other fish are still showing no symptoms, do you think this was actually Brook, or could it have been something else?
Any thoughts from people who have dealt with Brook or something similar would be greatly appreciated.
