Is this creature overload?

I do not mean to be greedy and tell me if I'm being so. I have recently found out that certain types of starfish are able to be kept in tanks although i know they do not do well i think i would have success with one. I would make sure to feed it clams on the half shell or some other type of food if it runs out of food. Tank size is 32.5.

tank inhabitants:
1 pincushion urchin
1 pencil urchins
3 conchs
Snails
Clownfish
3 pj cardinals
1 ywg
1 huge kenya tree.

would a starfish be too much for the tank? Im also planning on getting some GSP too.

Not sure If 2 urchins can survive in such a small tank, i never had any.
Your huge kenia tree will fill out the tank in 6 months.

Agree to disagree, all three of my conchs are doing fantastic and i feed them nori, and both of my urchins are also doing great, my pincushion is pushing on almost two years now. I actually have more sand than is needed in my tank so they can all he embedded if wanted to.

I guess thats a no on the starfish then cause thats not in my capability right now lol.

A brittle or a serpent will do fine so long as you feed it. Small chunks of seafood will do. I feed krill, squid, and bits of clam. Many common frozen foods will work. When it smells food it will come out and then just hand it some food.

*had chocolate chip star for 2 years before corals and then decided to "see what happens" when I started zoas -- don't ask,,, donated CC star to LFS.

FWIW -- I have less livestock in a 40 gallon; 1 conch, 1 urchin, 1 cleaner shrimp, 2 fish,,, etc.

Yeah .. unfortunately fromias will die at some point... I had dozens of them over the last 17 or so years in 10 - 80 Gallon tanks... Even put one in after a year of one of my tanks being up and it still died .

Try spotted linkia stars those did very well for me! Lived for 2 years until I sold my whole setup.

Serpents are excellent too!

Not to derail the thread too badly here, but how large was your tank with the spotted Linckia, and did you use any live sand/rock it?
