You might have to put sand or rocks on top of the base.

Sure. That would work inside your tank, assuming you replaced the screws with nylon screws, and nothing would rust.

Depends on how flimsy the shelf’s are since it looks like it’s designed for cupcakes, it may be thin material that may or may or may not hold up to the weight of rocks.

But looks to me like it should work, and might even look cool. It’ll be different for sure

I was planning to place corals on the bottom as well. Just let some montis or chalices grow over them. Perhaps a cyphastrea on the columns themselves. With a single acro sitting on each one of the shelves.
