They are Acoel flatworms. The look similar to arrowheads. They're a tan or tannish brown

Do you have good aeration?
Yes I think so. There is no canopy over the tank and even the sump is open to the air. There's a lot of water flow at the surface as well as throughout. I also don't run a filter bag so as the water enters the sum there are some air bubbles not an overabundance but I think it's just enough

Curious; if there are no fish or Coral in this tank and nothing is being fed other than the occasional phytoplankton what on Earth are these flatworms eating in order to survive? One would think that they would just die off but they just keep multiplying. Unless they are living off of phytoplankton or possibly baby pods?

Depending on the species, some of them are even photosynthetic.

You and I are probably fighting the same algae. Stuff gets around!

Hi Bruce! :D You have this green could also? Yours didn't look green in the pics to me. Either way, it's strange how the tank was clear 2 days ago and overnight is was like this. Today is the 2nd day it's green. I have 4 tanks and this is the only one doing it.

Some of my photos were under blue lights, but trust me ... a lovely emerald wall.

And it's coming back.

That is so strange. I thought this might be a phyto bloom of some sort. Or maybe the macro causing it. I mean I literally do nothing with this tank. LOL I'm taking a little bit of water out of it and fed the seahorse tank with it and I fill up the ATO unit. The lights are on a timer for 4 hours a day only.
