Is this GHA?

We have been batteling what we think is hair algae for months in our mixed reef (see video below). Currently 9 days into using Reef Flux. Every couple days we brush away as much as possible but continues to come back. It's not possible to remove all rocks. Also, now its spreading to sand bed. When patches are removed, they are not green but brown/purple. Needing identification if this is GHA, if so, other possible remedies. Thanks,

-2 yrs running
-LPS & SPS
-Red Sea XL 300 (65DT)
-Nyos 150 Skimmer
-Hydra 32 (2), 10" above water, 250 par at top of rocks, 8 hr photo period (0% white, red, green)
-Reef Brite Add-ons (currently off)
-Vortech MP10 (2)
-Supplemental powerheads (2)
-Duel filer socks changed every 3 days

The video isn’t working but might be dinos… try running Dino x for at least a couple weeks and see if there is improvement.

That’s a good resource and I agree, *if* it’s just algae a good cleanup crew should work wonders. However, because it seems reef flux isn’t working, and based on the description, it leads me to think dinos are a possibility. Cleanup crews won’t touch the stuff, in fact you’ll see very lethargic behavior from snails and urchins if you have a Dino outbreak.

I have 2 urchins and numerous snails and crabs. A 20% WC was performed Monday. I've also added 2 turbo snails and copepods.

I really suspect the Reef Brite add-ons accelerated algae growth.
