Is this Hammer past saving?

This hammer used to be very healthy up until about a month ago, all tank tests are stable with no big swings so no idea why it's gone like this. There are signs of life so shall i leave it be?

Probably, but I wouldn’t toss it until its all skeleton. Might make a come back, you never know…
