Hi everyone, noticed these spots on my clown today. I'm presuming it's ich from googling. I'll have to wait till tomorrow unfortunately to get a separate tank set up.

Do I put all of the fish into the separate tank with medication?

How long does ich live without a host in the display tank. I've read 24 hours n ive read 6 weeks?

Any advice is appreciated, thank you

Looks like Ick.

fallow period should be 76 days- or 6weeks with temps at or above 81.6- but any drop below 81.6 will start the clock over. So 76 days (to me anyway) is the safer way to go.

You can treat all fish together in a separate tank. 30 days on copper power is my preferred method. 2.5 Ppm for 30 days.

Maybe start out with 1 or 1.5 Ppm. And increase after a few days to 2.5 ppm.
A Hanna copper checker is very highly recommended for testing copper. All other tests I have used were not accurate.

good luck my friend
