Just finished hanging my sunpod 250w mh w/leds over my new 20gL frag tank. The bulb is 20k. It is 20" from the surface to light. Do I need to lower it? If so, how much. I don't want to bleach my frags or melt my screen.

Thanks

That photo is heaps cool. There's a mirror in the reflection of the other mirror, so it looks like you have a huge bedroom with 2 beds and 2 tanks lol :)
I'd bring it down to somewhere between 12-14" and see how it goes. It's better to have too little light than too much.

Lol, thanks, I didn't realize I caught the mirrors! It's my guestroom :D it actually is a decent size room. That bed mattress top is 30" high. I built and refinished all of it.

Yeah, I felt 20" was too high but didn't want to be too low for sure. It was 8" off a previous tank and melted the top of the tank. I think I'll start with 14" and go from there. Frags are arriving in the morning :)
