Is this normal Alveopora behavior?

Just got this from the lfs from the discount stand last week. A week later i would say its looking decent but some of the polyps are open but retracted. Is it normal? Just curious. Every other coral seems to be doing fine now too.

looks ok probably just getting used to your tank and maybe the flow isnt just right. They sometimes tank some time to settle in. I have to move them around to get them in the right spot. Dont mess with it too much though.

I have kept it in a relatively low flow area. Should I move it a bit? Currently on the sand bed as well

Alveopora when I had them are much like Gonis in care. Moderate lighting and moderate pulsing flow seemed to make them happiest.

Here’s a pic of fairly happy ones when I had my 90 up and running. In the black box. Note the position in the tank.

How is the flow? The polyps are mainly standing straight which makes me think its a low flow spot. IME they do poorly in low flow and slowly decline over time, the polyps need to sway in the flow. Medium light and medium flow IMO
