Is this normal for clownfish?

I just got my clownfish and one swims normally but the other seems to rest and bounce on the sand. Is this normal. I introduced them today with zero ammonia or nitrite.

When I walk up he starts swimming and sort of bouncing on the sand. He was swimming normally earlier also.

clown fish are weird and will do crazy things sometimes. the best advice I can give is watch it and wait. @vetteguy53081 knows more than I do.

Assure the water flow is not too strong and allow it to settle in. Lower light intensity for at least 48 hours.
How did you acclimate fish and for how long?

I did the half cup method as seen on the brs tv page and temp acclimated them for 45 min first. Half a cup every 4 min till the water doubled then remove half and repeat. Then add fish to tank.

Ugh, BRS. While ok, I prefer every 7-10 mins until salinity is equalized, even the PH

Ok I’ll do that next time. I think the fish might’ve just been really stressed. I came back home after like 2 hours and he’s swimming again. Keeping a close eye for the next couple days.

Acclimation was my concern and seems like it adjusted. Great to hear
