Is it only ever in that spot?
It partially looks like hosting behavior, just that it’s being hosted by a rock instead of a coral or nem.
Alternatively, it could be trying to get out of flow.
Clowns do weird things so there’s sometimes no reason for what they do.

No he moves around but has recently been doing that more. Especially at night time. Just never rlly saw him do it before until like 3 days ago.

If he’s doing it at night then that’s probably just his sleeping spot!
