I have an established 40 gallon tank. Basically a frag tank at this point. I traded someone for a 77 long fresh water tank I am converting in to a display tank. I recently purchased two plate corals. I understand they do not like fine sand which is what I have for a substrate in my 40 gallon. The 77 gallon fresh water tank came with 12 gallons of gravel. I needed some of the gravel to make a little area for the two small plate corals so I rinsed the gravel, soaked it in hydrogen peroxide for an hour, then rinsed the gravel twice with RO water. I ended up putting in two small hand fulls, maybe a half a cup in the 40 gallon frag tank. Will this be ok in the 40 gallon salt tank or should I remove it?

Thank you. It was cleaned very well and soaked in hydrogen peroxide and I only used 1/4-1/2 cup of the gravel for a small spot.
