Finally getting around to posting my build.
Started in June of 2021 after relocating to Florida. Previously had a biocube32 that I gave away in 2019.
Went with the RedSea Reefer XL425. My mixed reef has been up and running for almost two years now and I'm still happy with the decision.
I started with about 60lbs of dry rock and 50lbs of live sand. Took it slow cycling, used Dr Tim's Bacteria. Added a couple clowns about 5 weeks in. They are still going strong. They're a mated pair now and live in my giant Hammer. Took a solid year before the ugly stage completely finished. Thought the diatoms and hair algae would never end.

Lighting- AI Hydra 32HD x2
Pump- Sicce Syncra Silent 5.0
RedSea Skimmer RSK600
Gyre 300 WaveMaker x2
Turbelle Nano 6045 x2
Turbelle Nano 6055 x1
Heater- Hygger Hg-969

Added the Coralvue Hydros to my system back in July. I have the XP8 and the X3. I have no complaints. I've also added a 20g tank since I last updated my tank thread.

That's a good looking tank - and in a prime location! Can't think of a better place to sit than close to my tank! :star-struck: Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Great spot to relax, and more interesting than watching tv.o_O

Hey! That's a great-looking tank. Just wondering if you made the scape by yourself or if you bought it like that. Happy Reefing!

Thanks! I started from scratch with dry rock. Built it on a piece of cardboard with a hammer, chisel and glue.
