Hello, My journey began around the end of march, when i acquired a 75 gallon with a ton of equipment. This came from a tank breakdown. I have always kept Freshwater fish and dreamed of one day having saltwater aquarium and this seemed like the perfect time. Being in Eastern Kentucky there isn't a huge community but there are some i've connected with that are full of helpful information and always willing to help and give advice. This has been extremely helpful with getting this aquarium up and running. it came with the following equipment. 20 Gallon long sump, Aquamaxx cone style skimmer, spectrapure maxcap ro/di 90 gpd, Kessil AP700 light, bunch of rock, 1 large and 2 small heaters, jebao wavemaker.

Day 1 - looking at everything feeling overwhelmed. lol

after research and around a month later I have the sump setup

Cycling continued - Until it was ready. And that's when i added the 1st... and only fish at this time. August 5th

August 20th 15 days after adding the blue damsel, I added some Coral that was gifted from a local friend who got me started on this journey.

Toadstool leather, Superman Mushroom, Unknown mushroom, Monticap, Green Palythoa, Pavona (Cactus), Favia. I'm sure i've got some names wrong.

The coral has now been added to the tank for almost 2 weeks and seem to be doing good.

Everything seems to be going good and will post more pictures as the tank matures.

Thanks for taking a look everyone.. I'm also open to any suggestions that will help my tank grow 1693581450553.png 1693581478821.png
