So I've had this turbo snail for 18 months, I bought it with a tiny tumor growth on it shell. It always looked the same so i thought nothing of it. But just the other day i got a little creeped out when i stopped and took a better look at my snail. What do you think it is? What ever it is its just in time for halloween.

I've been thinking of removing the clam off of the snail? But then also the clam made it this far without interfering.

I have a couple of those in my tank and have had them for years. I don't know the exact species but rest assured that's NOT a baby tridacna clam. It is some type of clam though. They're filter feeders and they do really well in our tanks. They bother nothing and are completely harmless and very interesting.

How big do they get, this one started a quarter of its size when I noticed it about 18 months ago.
