Need pics in white light. I see a lot of hair strands that are probably algae, most corals don't like being touched by algae.

But its hard to see, need the pic in white light, it could be aptaisia, hydroids, cloves, etc.....

Hello Mr. Mojo, yes, the algae in my tank is out of control. I bought turbo and nerite snails, but they didn't help and they are wandering around the tank. I recently noticed that the nutrient consumption in my tank has decreased and the coral growth has stopped. Could this be due to algae growth?
I'll upload some photos, hopefully they'll be recognizable.

Honestly mine just straight up grows over algae. It could be the algae, but I am a little concerned that it's only grown that much in 6 months. Healthy Xenia would have easily covered that rock.

My recommendation would be to get some Pithos crabs or a halloween urchin to at least get that under control and eliminate it as a possibility.

The zoas are stretching - was this pic taken during regular daylight hours for the tank?

The growth of the trumpets is more promising but not satisfactory. This photo is for a period of 6 months.
