This is a hand made filter roller that you hand crank to roll the filter. I purchased it and attempted to use it in a fiji cube 22.4g but I couldn't get the water clean enough. I did not alter any part of the filter roller at all it is still perfect condition. I rigged it up pretty well cutting the sock holder and making some plastic squares to get the filter roller to sit just below the surface but it still doesn't work for me.

Sorry to hijack this thread. Is that a HOB refugium you have behind, plumbed in with a UV?
(takes water from middle chamber>UV>HOB refugium>spills into return chamber)

If I am correct what's the name on that refuge?

np, you are correct. It is a Fiji Cube, Large Hang On Refugium. I got the previous model on clearance. The 300gph pump that is included was much much slower than my other 266gph pump. It is a good piece though.
I used one of the holes in the top for sensors to plumb 1/2" pvc through. There are some more pictures of the setup in my Fancy Fiji Cube 22.4g thread in my profile. I haven't updated it in a while.

I have a fluval 13.5 too and it does not fit. IseaLive does make one for the fluval 13.5 though
This really is just designed for the waterbox AIOs. the black piece on this will drop into and catch itself at the right level in their compartments.

How close is the fit on a fluval 13.5. will a little bit of modding and sandpaper help?
