It’s a New Year, Show me what your tank looked like 1 year ago

January 17th before removing and scrubbing for a new aquascape. This was an orphaned tank I adopted with all the algae months earlier for my first saltwater tank.

Then here’s a photo from January 26th after the scrub and re-scape. I also replaced the sand with new white live sand.

Here are a couple of photos of the same scape that I moved Into a Nuvo 40 in the last couple weeks.

I’m glad this post popped up. I was feeling bummed I haven’t seen more growth, but from where I was a year ago, I’ve made leaps and bounds.

Only had my 52lt evo for 6 months and it’s my first saltwater tank. Lost a few corals along the way but every days a learning day.

As we celebrate the new year, it’s time to look back on what our tanks looked like one year ago.

For me and many others, it was a thought. I had just recently purchased my Biocube 32 and on New Years Eve, waiting for the clock to strike 12, like tonight, I was deciding which clownfish I was going to get. There were too many options for me to choose from, but a year later, I will be getting a clown next week.
