It’s opening day!

I'm pretty excited to be travelling to Chicago April 30. Gonna catch a Cubs game at Wrigley too! (even though I'm an Astros fan there's something about the brick and ivy)

Sweet. It’s been years since I’ve seen a game at Wrigley. These days when I go see the Cubs it’s usually at AT&T. Great stadium. Great fans. I fear the astros. They’ve done everything the cubs have and maybe better. They both have years of winning ahead of them. It’s incredible luck for both teams to have had so many of their top prospects live up to the high expectations.

I’ll have to check out the tribute. Halladay was great. It’s going to be tough in that division for the jays. They need to flip Donaldson and eat the cash so they can get the best prospect they can. Their farm system is also solid. Dates me that their top two prospects are bo bichette and vlad Guerrero jr. I have their dads rookie cards!

Not only eat Donaldson, but now Tulo is out for 60 days. what the heck do these seasoned veterans think coming into spring training without doing their off season work? Ditch em both. Takers?

Vlady Jr hits a home run in the last spring training game to win the game in the bottom of the 9th....in Montreal no less! Wish he was playing for the big team now.

On the bright side.....check out Pillar stealing 3 bases in one inning yesterday. A small, but shining light....

It’s all good... I’m a child of the 80s and Donnie Baseball was my favorite player growing up when I played Little League ball. :)
