THANK YOUWelcome bra. Tank looks great so far.
THANK YOU Steve & Marie .....i will keep you guys postedI'm little late to the party but welcome and you're off to a great start keep updates coming love seeing a system take off and become a reef. A beautiful feeling we reefers share .
i have to cut down the big rock to left its a little too high. Aquascape i think im going with.....thoughts
when i received the rock it had a bunch of sponges and stuff which i feel i removed most of the visible waste etc.so will probably just throw it in as you suggested appreciate the inputIf it's clean dry rock it won't require any curing just put it in the tank with the sand and cycle the system as you would normally do. (Add ammonia source, test for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate until cycling is finished) approximately six weeks give or take. Only rock with animals on or in it that died during shipment or while being held need to be cured.
thanks... me tooLooks pretty nice love open space in a reef.
i was sort of thinking the same thing....im just going to throw them in and go for itIf it had animals on it then it will need to cure but that's a part of cycling the tank and will actually help with the cycling.
thank youWelcome to R2R!
