Okay, so I noticed this today just after feeding the tank. It looks like a new head bursting through the polyp of my trumpet coral, but Google says that wouldn't happen. Any advice?

Don't know, but it seems nifty, assuming its not harmful.
To my knowledge, I don't have anything in the tank that will nip at trumpets. My clowns just a hammer in the middle of the tank.
