Different zoas are one thing, its easy to recognize the different color and order of colors around the disk, where as "signature" corals have a tendancy to take a common coral, put their name infront of it, change the name and charge 2x as much. Anyone seen JF Fast money? Its a radioactive dragon eye for $10pp. IMO This is the same situation.

Only way to solve this is to get both. Put them side by side and wait a few months. The thing is, there are a lot of superman colonies out there and more being brought in all the time. If the aqua man is a morph they might not all be able to morph in the same way, making it a unique piece. Might not justify the price but still makes it different.

Yeah I just got a superman and my sister gets er masters in genetics in 2 weeks, starts her new job in like a month, and I can set up a salt water tank in the lobby of the research lab in the hospital and as long as I keep it up, I can keep a 65g bow front there and perform any controlled experiments that I want. I'll take photos each day of the specimens and log everything as I go. I am wildly fascinated with this and I am even more curious as to how long this takes. If it takes a significant amount of time, then it surely deserves the extra amount of money being asked similar to an aged wine or whiskey or vintage piece. Regardless, if there is demand for little supply, then the market will dictate the proper amount. Not only will I be keeping an eye on color, but also my sister did courses in the Galapagos and can test it to see if its chemical make up changes at all.

It will be a long time before the tank is properly cycled, etc. I will keep you guys posted.

Obviously, Aaron, I am happy to trade you! :)

PS-- This isnt the only think I am testing for. Since having the reef tank, I have been 5 mos remission with psoriatic arthritis and scleroderma.. one a reactive arthritis most likely with genetic predispositions and scleroderma largely believed to be a genetic disease, but I believe to also be reactive and more influenced by environment than western medicine would lead people to believe. I am one of very few people that has been in remission with this disease twice.

Just picked up a Fast Money frag from my buddies fish store. Guess I got a pretty good deal because the frag has 5 heads on it and he only charged me $29. I'll post a picture as soon as it opens up.
